1955 BOWMAN BASEBALL COMPLETE SET BREAK

New call-to-action

1955 Bowman baseball has the iconic "TV" design. You can see on the four cards above that wood boarder with the tube in the middle, just like the television sets you remember as a kid. You had to go "warm up" the TV before before changing the dial to find your favorite show. This this set ended up being the final release for Bowman baseball cards until they returned in 1989. If you were a Mickey Mantle fan, this was the only set you could find number 7 in, too; he had a contract with Bowman in 1954 and 1955 and was not in a Topps release either year. These four cards above are the exact cards from the set break.

Highlights include:

  • Mickey Mantle graded SGC 4
  • Hank Aaron graded SGC 3
  • Willie Mays graded SGC 4.5
  • Ernie Banks graded SGC 3.5
  • Yogi Berra graded SGC 3
  • + more stars and Hall of Famers!

As there are 320 cards in the set, only 320 spots in the break will be sold - this ensures that you will take home a card from the set. The list of name is always randomized LIVE on the show as the break occurs; you have the same chance as everyone else in the break to land the cards you desire. For example - If you land on spot #202 after the random, you will take home card #202, Mickey Mantle!

Take a trip back to when Hank Aaron and Ernie Banks were in their second year of ball, just kids on their way to the Hall of Fame. In 1955 when Disneyland first opened it's doors (July 17th), NORAD began tracking Santa Claus for you, Bill Haley & his Comets had the top song for several months with Rock Around The Clock, and the price of gas was 29 cents per gallon (if only...).
