Victor Wembanyama Auto Pulled from Allen & Ginter by Vintage Breaks

One of the hottest autos in the game was pulled here at Vintage Breaks! From 2023 Allen & Ginter, check out this Victor Wembanyama pull.

Victory Wembanyama, AKA WEMBY, was the number-one pick in the 2023 NBA draft. The 7'4" is coming into the league as one of the highest-touted prospect since LeBron James. Collectors like yourself have been chasing a Wemby auto like a Turbo Man on Christmas Eve. Just this week, Topps gave one lucky winner the first card Weby ever signed in a grand event with Wemby himself handing the card over. We couldn't wait to pull YOU an auto - it didn't take us long to score you one!

While breaking 2023 Topps Allen & Ginter, which just dropped on the 22nd, Charlie G from Vintage Breaks West did this:

We may or may not have already razzed Charlie G for pronouncing Wembanyama as "Wem-en-nam-ay." Charlie G is a baseball fan and not familiar with modern basketball cards. You're wondering why Wemby was in a baseball box, aren't you? That's the beauty of Allen & Ginter - there are mostly baseball stars but the checklist includes key names from other sports and pop icons, too. Variety withy your baseball! The Allen & Ginter brand has been doing this for longer than you'd think; they go back to the 1800's, well before Topps came around. The Allen & Ginter set from 1887 includes baseball players, boxers, and personalities.

This is a "Framed Mini Non-Baseball Autograph" insert. You can see the frame around the mini card with a lovely on-card auto from Wemby. The blue ink really stands out on this card!

Congrats to you, Lukas, for taking home the auto everyone is aiming for heading into the NBA season! Wemby's team, the Spurs, have their first pre-season game in just a few days; they tip off on October 9th. The regular season begins on October 25th. We hope Wemby, or Wem-en-nam-ay. (had to get you again, Charlie G), has an awesome career! Can't wait to see him play in just a few days.
