Rare Ray Liotta 1/1 Cut Signature Pulled from 2023 Topps Heritage Pack

One year to the day we lost the talented Ray Liotta, we pulled a MASSIVE card from 2023 Topps Heritage baseball featuring the late actor's signature. The odds of pulling this auto are nearly one in a HALF MILLION packs!

Ray Liotta was an icon on the screen. In television, he won an Emmy award, in gaming you recognize his voice in Grand Theft Auto and Call of Duty, and on the big screen he wowed us with roles like Henry Hill in Goodfellas. The most memorable role to us is that of Shoeless Joe Jackson in Field of Dreams. When you think of classic movies and quotes you use often, Field of Dreams is at the top. We know you've said "If you build it, he will come" a few times in your life! Sadly, Ray Liotta passed away on March 26th, 2022.

When Topps Heritage created their 2023 product, they included a special Ray Liotta autograph. The insert is called 1974 Cut Signatures. Each card, like the Heritage set, is in the design of 1974 Topps cards. A total of 10 celebrities are included in this Cut Signatures insert set, including the man that played Shoeless Joe. Only ONE card of each celebrity was made, making each celebrity autograph a one of one.

How rare are these 1/1 Cut Signatures? The odds of pulling a Cut Signature are one in 552,239 packs! Over half of a million packs to find these special Cut Signatures. We couldn't believe our own eyes when J5 and Jason opened a pack of 2023 Topps Heritage and pulled the Ray Liotta autograph exactly one year TO. THE. DAY. of his passing. We pulled this autograph on May 26th, 2023.

You can see the border of the card is exactly like the 1974 Topps set, and that lovely 1/1 stamp on the back! A HUGE congrats goes out to Todd Malanowski for landing this incredible pull.

This card takes us back to when were kids, watching Field of Dreams for the first time. In 1989 when you wished you could make a baseball field in your back yard, you had a fresh pack of batteries for your Game Boy, and you had a crush on Kelly Kapowski.
