The Wizard made an appearance on Vintage Breaks West this week! Charlie G broke a wax pack of 1979 Topps baseball and pulled one of the nicest-centered Ozzie Smith rookie cards we've seen. Check out the video of the pull and see how you can hop into our next break.

Charlie G did his best Phil Rizzuto impression while breaking a 1979 Topps baseball wax pack on Vintage Breaks West this week! "HOLY COW" was the first thing Sir Charles said when saw this VERY well-centered Ozzie Smith rookie card.

Ozzie has a dinged corner but the centering almost as spectacular as The Wizard's glove work back when he won a Gold Glove every year from 1980 to 1992! You can see Smith in his Padres uniform on that 1979 Topps card. You may recall Ozzie as a Cardinal but he began his career in San Diego where he made an all-star team and won a Gold Glove. He shined as a Cardinal as he made 14 All-Star teams, won 11 more Gold Gloves, an NLCS MVP Award, and won the World Series in 1982. This card won't get a PSA 10 with the corner but should grade well! The PSA Pop report has only FIVE 10's on the list.
