Bobby Witt Jr Rookie Gold Nugget Card from Topps Gold Label Pulled

We struck GOLD! During a break of 2022 Topps Gold Label, we pulled a card containing an actual gold nugget. The card is called a Gold Prospects Relic, and this chunk of gold is attached to none other than Bobby Witt, Jr!

Topps Gold label lives up to the name. One of the hits in the product is an actual piece of GOLD! During our card breaks on Vintage Breaks South, Gilmore pulled one of these coveted inserts. Gold Label comes with 7 packs per box and 5 cards per pack with 1 Framed autograph. When Gilmore opened the box, he thought Topps inserted 2 Framed autographs due to the weight of the packs. The Gold Frame auto is heavier than the base cards, but that was no second Framed auto; we pulled a GOLD NUGGET!

This Gold Prospect Relic of Bobby Witt, Jr is numbered 25/25 (an eBay 1/1 🤣). We think Alex Patterson is more excited to pull this beauty rather than a second Gold Frame auto! The odds of pulling the gold nugget are 1:1,424 packs; congrats on this awesome pull, Alex!

Witt is at the plate in this card, maybe looking to hit one of his 20 rookie home runs...or gazing at that piece of gold. You can see the serial number of the bottom left, 25/25, and the iconic Topps rookie logo on the right. The powder blue Royals jersey color pops well with the gold card! Witt has SPEED! He swiped 30 bases in his rookie season, and had the fastest sprint speed in the majors. We can't wait to see how he will follow-up his 20 homer/30 stolen base rookie season. Jr's dad and uncle had great baseball moments in their careers. Witt's dad won a World Series with the 2001 Diamond Backs, and his Uncle (Mike) threw a perfect game in 1984.
