Larry Bird is a three-time NBA MVP with three NBA championships and more incredible moments from his playing days than we can count. Larry Legend shares his iconic 1980 Topps rookie card with the great Magic Johnson and Dr. J, though. Larry never had a solo card until his second year in the league when Topps released their 1981 set. If you're collecting Bird cards, a mint 1981 card is high on your wish list!

Charlie G of VB West opened a pack of 1981 Topps for Chef Ted, and through the pack the centering was decent. Once Sir Charles caught a glimpse of the back of the Bird card, he prayed to the centering Gods.

This Larry Bird *might* be a PSA 9! The pop report has 9.696 Birds graded and only 1.403 of those are a PSA 9 without a qualifier. Congrats, Chef! We're hoping for a PSA 9 for you. Look at young Bird in his Celtics warmup jacket in that card. Bird looks like he's eyeing down the next opponent he'll be trash talking to all game!
