A pack-fresh Willie Mays card was pulled by Vintage Breaks this weekend! Let that sink in for a second - Pack. Fresh. Willie. Mays. Check out the video of a 1947-1966 Exhibits pack break we did and the incredible Mays that popped out.

Willie Mays hasn't stepped on the baseball field as a Giant in 50 years - half of a Century. That's how long this sealed pack of 1947-1966 Exhibits has been unopened. We were hoping for something special when we offered you a chance to buy into this pack break and damn if we couldn't be happier when we pulled The Say Hey Kid himself in the pack!

The 1947-1966 Exhibits cards were produced by a company in Chicago, IL. named Exhibit Supply Company. For twenty years, the company distributed baseball cards. The cards are 3-3/8” by 5-3/8” and have a black and white front with a portrait of the player. Overall, about 330 cards were released over those two decades. Back then, you could pick up a pack of 5 cards for just 10 cents. Stars like Mickey Mantle, Jackie Robinson, Stan Musial, Hank Aaron, and of course Willie Mays were included in the set. J5 couldn't believe his eyes when he pulled Willie Mays from a sealed pack of Exhibits! Check out the video:

Congrats to James Ector for landing this Mays! The first-ballot Hall of Famer has 660 home runs, 3,283 hits, a World Series championship, a pair of MVP awards and 12 gold gloves. Willie Mays is an all-timer of all-timers.

Don't worry, James, we've already told J5 he can't take this one home. We see how J5 is eyeing this card down...

Think how much has changed in the world since this Willie Mays card was sitting in the Exhibits pack - something as simple as the Internet wasn't around. Most homes didn't have a microwave.
